Adrea in town from Chicago

My friend Adrea is in town from Chicago and it has been so fun to see her and hang out with her. We used to work together at the good old X Salon. She is also my boss Canace's sister. All in all we always have fun together. Here are some fun pics we have taken since she has been here.

Archer.......My buddy

Lately I feel like my blogs have been a little delayed. About two months ago my cousin Caitlin and her husband Chad brought the kids out here and started to look for houses. They curently live in southern California and are planning to move out here to Utah and I couldn't be more excited!!

Most of you who know me know of the famous Archer. I love this kid. I could hang out with him all day every day and be immensely entertained. This kid is so hilarious. I could go on and on about Archer stories. Here is a recent favorite...When they were here visiting they came to church with us and Archer insisted on me going to primary with him. We get there and sit down and the lady sitting next to me was a larger woman and Archer decides to tell me very loudly....."Heathurr that lady has really big muscles....Look!!" Yes, the woman heard and just laughed. I tried so hard to not laugh!

These are just some of my favorite pics from their trip here. If you look closely at the first one of him in his PJ's he decided to put mittens on his feet instead of socks. The one oh him holding my hand is my favorite. He was falling asleep and grabbed my hand before he fell asleep. So cute! I cant wait to spend the weekend with him this week. I love you Archer!!

MIKA

For the past couple years I have been obsessed with a guy named Mika. He is a very talented musician. A month ago I was lucky enough to go see him in concert. Some of my friends and I all got tickets two months before the show and we were so excited and when the day finally came the nigth didnt end up how we had planed. We found out that all of his equipment was left in Colorado due to weather. So Bret and I were the only ones who waited in line for 2 1/2 hours in the freezing cold while he practiced singing acousitcly. It was so worth the wait!!! He was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately he only could perform for 45 minutes but it was so good. It was probably the best show I have ever been to. If any of you haven't bought his album please do. Loved it!!

Big Brother

I know that those of you who know me know that I love reality TV. Well for the past couple years I have been addicted to a little show called big brother. I don't know many people who have ever even seen this show. It's on it's 10th season so someone must be watching it! For those of you who have never seen it I will explain the idea of the show. So there are 18 house guests who are all put into a house that they cannot leave and they all live together for 3 months. They compete in competitions to compete for the head of house hold title and through out the weeks they are all voted off one by one. Sounds pretty simple but it gets pretty complicated. Its on 3 days a week on CBS. I love it so much. It's kindof like a car wreck.....You can't help but watch. I know its about half way into the season but you can watch previous episodes online or just start now. Its a fun show!

Spring Fever

I don't know about you all but I am so ready for spring. Its the middle of March now and i am so ready for the warm weather. When I say warm I mean like 60's 70's would be nice. I can wait for the 80's and 90's but I need some warmth. I can be patient for the heat of summer but I need spring. I love spring.....pretty flowers, the option of wearing a light jacket, walks down broadway, sitting outside for lunch, driving with my windows down, leaving the door open at the salon for a nice breeze, cute dresses with boots or saldals, easter, spring cleaning, not freezing at night when we like to walk home late at night and how light it stays at night. These are just a few things I love about spring time!

The Birthday Girls

So saturday all the gang got together and celebrated mine and Kjirsten's Birthdays. We have so many march birthdays that we like to combine them and get some of them done in one night. We went to mine and Kj's favorite restraunt Trio. It was excellent as usual. We were only planning on 14 people but there were 18 and 2 kids. I guess we are more popular than we thought. Whitney brought Kaya, Les and joe brought Stella and Ashley and Clay brought Ava and these girls are growing up so fast. Our friends sure have cute kids. Kjirsten and I were spoiled as usual. I especially loved my new purse that Les and Sue picked out for me. It is so cute.....You can tell from one of the pictures how much I love it. Anyways, we had a fun night and we were so lucky to have all of you there who could attend. Love you all.

My Girls

Tonight Janessa and Rachel took me out to dinner for my birthday and we had a good time. We went to Citrus Grill and had the most awkward waitress ever!!! After dinner we went back to Rachels to play with Addie. I love that little girl so much she couldn't be any cutter. I am so excited for Ness to have her baby so I can have another sweet little baby to play with.

I have been friends with these girls for over 10 years and we still never get sick of each other. We can laugh for hours about things that would never be funny to anyone else. I love these girls more than anything and I always will.

I have the greatest and coolest friends in the World!!

Yes its true........I really have been blessed with the greatest friends in the world. I am going to be honest I have a lot of friends and for this I am very lucky. They are all very different but I love each of them for different reasons. A couple of my best girlfriends took me out for my birthday. We had a good time with a few exceptions:)...... They bought me my new favorite perfume Pink Sugar and the new Janet Jackson which is amazing by the way. I am going to take a minutes and tell you all what I love so much about them.

Nicolette is one of the strongest women I have ever met. She is a great mom to her wonderful kids, who I love also. Oh yeah she is also the HOTTEST mom ever. She has been through a lot in her life and it has made her very strong. I look up to her a lot. I haven't been friends with her for very long but I know if I ever needed anything I could ask and she would do it. That means a lot to me. I love this girl so much.

Loni....Oh Loni love. I love her to death. This girl is such a hard worker and does not put up with crap. Loni can make me laugh till my stomach hurts. Also to add she has the best stories ever. I love talking to her because she will always be 100% honest with me. Everyone needs a friend like that. I don't get to spend as much time with her as I would like but when we do see each other we just start off where we left. Love her.

Andria....Or as I call her Dria. You would think that since we work together and are together all the time that we might get sick of each other. Well, it hasn't happened for me at least. We went to San Francisco with our bosses a couple years ago and ever since that trip I knew we would be friends forever. We think we are pretty hilarious and that our lives would make a great reality show!! We always have fun together even if we are sitting on out butts watching TV or playing with Laia(whom I also love so much). I could call Andria at two in the morning crying and she would listen to me and be there for me whatever the situation was. I know this is true cuz it has happened on many occasions. I love her.

As you can see I have some pretty great friends. I am truely blessed in my life to have been given the oportuinity to become life long friends with these people. For those of you that I haven't mentioned your time will come also and you all know how much I love you.
